How Renegade Game Studios shipped six accessibility fixes in a week with Noibu's AI agents

Renegade Game Studios, the tabletop publisher behind Dungeon Crawler Carl and Heroscape, runs seven BigCommerce storefronts with a small ecommerce team. In its first week on Noibu, the team merged six accessibility fixes drafted by Noibu's AI agents, each one reviewed before it shipped, and replaced a separate accessibility tool along the way.

About Renegade Game Studios
Renegade Game Studios publishes tabletop and card games, including Dungeon Crawler Carl and Heroscape, and sells direct to fans on BigCommerce. Its direct-to-consumer business has grown fast, helped by major crowdfunding campaigns that brought a wave of new customers to its stores.
What was holding Renegade back?
A small ecommerce team looks after seven storefronts: separate US, UK and EU stores, brand sites for individual games, and a site for retailers. Before Noibu, the team mostly heard about site problems from customer emails and social media, then had to reproduce them before its development partner could step in.
Accessibility was a separate job with a separate tool. And with so many new customers arriving, small issues on the site cost more than they used to.
How does Renegade use Noibu's AI agents?
Renegade connected Noibu to Claude, the AI assistant, through Noibu MCP (here is how that setup works). It then put the themes for all seven storefronts in GitHub, so the agents can read the code and propose changes (how that works with an outside development partner).
Noibu's ADA agent, which finds accessibility gaps and drafts the fixes, runs a weekly audit. Each fix arrives as a pull request, and a person reviews it before it merges. Nothing changes on the live site without the team's say-so.
What did the agent fix?
Six accessibility fixes, merged on October 1
| Where | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Empty cart page | Headings skipped a level | Headings in order |
| Search page | No main heading when the search was empty | A fallback main heading |
| Home and login pages | No main landmark | A main landmark, so screen readers can jump to the content |
| Product cards | Card titles used a different heading level | Titles match every other card |
| Footer newsletter | Heading out of order | Heading at the right level |
| Blog thumbnails | Each post link read out twice | Duplicate link hidden from screen readers |

None of these break a page you can see, which is why they're easy to miss. They make the store harder to use for shoppers who rely on a screen reader or keyboard (how to run an accessibility audit on your own store).
What were the results?
- Six accessibility fixes merged in the first week, each reviewed before it shipped
- One tool instead of two: Noibu replaced the separate accessibility tool Renegade had been paying for
- One setup for all seven storefronts, from the main US store to the retailer site
